On the worldwide day of New Year’s Eve races also in Mexico some events took part. Vitafit’s newest and 2020-full-team member René Ortiz Morales won the 8k “San Silvestre en Ciudad Fernandez” close to his homeplace.
Not expecting many serious competitors he started with a good rythm of 3:05 per kilometer. He ran very equal finishing the race with the time of 24:39.
This small speedrace gives him not only a good trainings-effect but the win also motivation for his next goal, the Houston Half in January.
