Liliana Maria Dragomir ran her first marathon for some years and wanted to smash her PB. The conditions in Ravenna have been a little bit cold and the Ladies field not that strong that a time sub 2:40 was not easy as expected. Also some leg problems from the first kilometer showed Liliana that it won’t be an easy day.
However she is a fighter who finishs every race and even bringing this marathon to the end rewarded her with still a new PB and a second place finish.
Even her time of 2:43 still leaves space for improvement, especially after her win at the Berlin Big 25k in october in and her half mrathon PB from last year’s october, she is on a good way and will run much faster times soon.
