While the first part of the main marathon season in Europe is over and now some shorter road races will come up it is the same in Latinamerica where our Athletes Yolimar Pineda and Robert Gaitho set some podium positions.
In the Road Race “Carrera Dos Pinos” in Costa Rica Yolimar Pineda won the half marathon without bigger problems while Robert Gaitho raced in Mexico also over the half marathon distance in the city Saltillo in the state of Coahuila.
In the 21k of Coahuila he had a positions in the leading group for long till he lost a little bit the contact on the last kilometers and finished in position three half a minute behind the winner. The winning times of 64-65 min in this race in an altitude of 1500m have to been seen as strong results.
